Wine luminary Hans Rhyner is moving to Gonten. Together with his wife Beatrice, he wants to turn the two restaurants Taverne and Bärenstobe into the flagship of the wine scene.

With Carlo Bet and Jürgen Schmid in the kitchen of the Bäre Gonten, the culinary offering has been expanded: The restaurant now welcomes guests seven days a week. While the tavern serves simpler cuisine by the crackling fireplace, the Bärenstobe offers gourmet cuisine.
